He's a company man. Plain and simple.

Yep this excuse was indistinguishable from Garrett's after any of the games he abandoned the run

I guess when people say we can't see what Garrett is building here, they might be right. All of our leaders are programmed pretty darn well.

Hope to god we run the hell out of the ball. Just want to keep the defense off the field

I'm kinda excited about this Ryan Williams signing. Him and Murray could be a nice 1-2. If you plug in Martin at LG, you have a very interesting one side of the line and a very nice trio of backs that compliment each other nicely to give the ball to.

Did you watch the games last season, Carlos?

We were running the ball very well at times and they would quit running. I'm all for improving the line but don't give me the excuse that its because of the running game.

Eh, it doesn't really matter anymore.

The draft experience was ruined when they took it from Saturday and SUnday and divided it up over Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

What they do to it now is inconsequential.

It can get worse. You sit back and watch.

What I already stated coupled with the Jones administration's draft day antics have made the draft a crappy experience already, so for me, it can't get worse.

I agree. this could be a nice acquisition if he's healthy.

He has said he is in support because it will make it easier that the Cowboys make the postseason, and while partially tongue in cheek...he wants it for that reason.

Yep Jer is willing to do anything for the Cowboys.....except hire a GM of course

The more ironic part is over the last 4 years, the expansion still wouldn't have gotten us in the playoffs.

In my 40 years of watching football, I never thought I'd see an owner happy to try and make the playoffs at 8-8, and keep a straight face while pushing to add teams to the playoff system so that HIS shitty team could back into the race. Hey if ya can't get in by drafting well and building a team...hell...just make the playoffs bigger!!!

Ladies and gentleman, welcome to to the stage the wildcatter himself.... Jerrul "PT Barnum" Jones.

~loud applause~

The more I hear him talk like expanding the playoffs is that one missing piece to Dallas' championship the more and more infuriated I get.

He's a buffoon, but expanded playoffs is definitely coming soon. Three wildcards among four divisions and just one team getting a playoff bye week are both very good things.

We all know Jerry likes it because his team is stuck in a perpetual 8-8 rut, but overall it's very good for the NFL.
