Who is that from?

its pretty easy to stop the run when you stack the box every play because your quarterback can't beat you deep. We have no vertical threat receivers nor do we have a QB who can throw to them if they are open

Been preaching that for a while now and that is the difficulty in a nutshell.

Watching the Pats defend us was so sad. It was so easy for them, they must have felt sorry for the pathetic-ness of Weeden.

Losing Dunbar hurt a ton...with the 8 in the box screens and short passes to him would certainly have helped.

Its like changing the label on a bottle of PT's Snake Oil. Its still fake and shitty and has no chance of working.

lol wut?

We churned a couple bodies on the PS...how is this OMG shady Jerry being a snake oil salesman?

This would imply that some folks were wrong about Dunbar, and that he really CAN play at the NFL level.

It's really an indictment of the coaching staff and how they failed to use him last year, he could have been a huge wrinkle to throw at teams focusing on so many other weapons.

Agree with that. They declared he was valuable by keeping him on the roster but wouldn't utilize him.

Dunbar is the same injury prone bitch he always was.

We were forced to use him more because Dez got hurt, Terrance Williams can't get open, and the backup QB didn't feel comfortable throwing past 7 yards.

The guy took himself out. AGAIN.

Does that mean he falls into the same category as Sean Lee?

I agree, the staff was so hyper focused on the single solution in Murray, that they went one dimensional. Of course, having your star receiver healthy helped alot.

I think there were rightfully some questions about him...I feel like he was a bit loose with the ball...I know it only shows 1 fumble lost, but it felt like more. Also, not sure where the extra snaps were going to come from for him. He got hurt in 2013, Murray did pretty much everything last year, and he got hurt this year with a heavier load.

Wow, color me impressed.

Murray should not have done everything last year, there was a noticeable decline in his play down the stretch and it would have been nice to see a fresher Murray in the playoffs.

A weapon like Dunbar could also tip the balance in playoff games when teams are keying in on all your tendencies.
