For a cheap rental I would take him.

I think the Michael thing is playing out like it should. If the guy is not good enough, he's not good enough.

So, after googling this guy it turns out he got dismissed from Iowa State after multiple arrests. Lovely.

The report comes from the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, who adds that Irving has already worked out for the Chicago Bears, Chiefs, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Raiders and Seahawks. Irving has a 4.84 second forty, a 38-inch vertical leap, a 10-8 broad jump, a 4.53 short shuttle and a 7.27 three-cone drill. OVERVIEW
Charged with domestic assault in November 2013 after an incident with the mother of his child. Was suspended for a game, but charges were dropped two months later. In April 2014, took part in VEISHEA, which was the largest student run festival in the nation, bringing in tens of thousands of visitors to the campus each year. A riot ensued and a picture of Irving in contact with a stop sign made its way onto social media. He was charged with fifth-degree theft, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He was dismissed from the team following the incident.

Eh, I care. Not everyone is going to be a Boy Scout, sure. A few losers on a team of good people won't hurt you. But we're assembling a bunch of these characters. Too many guys like that together will come back to bite you at some point IMO.

There was a tweet in one of the threads that stated we tried to trade for him before the season. Don't know the source so take it for what it's worth.
