Archer: Which Dallas Cowboys stay, go in 2014

Considering we had seen this 2nd round te story play out before it's more that it's a wasted pick since most knew he wouldn't see significant snaps to justify the pick.

But again that doesn't make him a bust as a player but I agree he is a wasted pick. The finger points to management.

I wouldn't call him a bust by any means but he is still only the third best TE on our team which is a serious problem. He is a perfect example of why strictly drafting BPA is retarded.

True he is 3rd but what I have seen of him I like. It would be interesting to see what he can do as a starter. I would like to see the coaching staff line him up in Witten' s position during the next pre season games.

Escobar may or may not end up being a player. Unfortunately, Garrett/Callahan's lack of offensive creativity hinders him (same for Harris).

Still was a waste of a second round pick. Could have the production from keeping someone like Scott Chandler around at a lot cheaper price.

How nice would it have been to have Eddie Lacy or Larry Warford instead?

exactly, going bpa assumes you have coaches that can take advantage of the talent
