That's not true. I remember the KC game specifically that he was average at best. And not average for Romo, but average as in a middle of the pack QB...at best. Even his checkdowns in the game were being skipped to players for a while.
He completed 71.4% of his passes against one of the league's better defenses. He was 30/42 for 298 and a TD and averaged 7.10 YPA. Dude's passer rating was 99.1... this sucked, Deuce?
You want to point blame in KC, it goes no further than 37 yards gained rushing total on 16 carries (including a 12 yarder by Dunbar), 114 yards allowed rushing on 25 carries, and 2 game-changing fumbles, one by Romo holding on too long and another by Dunbar on his "long" run.
I blame Romo for the fumble because he held on too long, but his passing was just fine.
