The issue I have is with Al Michaels booth mate... he is a huge NFL homer, he's constantly spewing sunshine, regardless of what is actually happening on the field.
If it's him you're talking about I can see that being the case. He's probably so used to doing college games, where the analysts are rarely critical of players performance, that he's carried that style over to his NFL job.
