Yeah, I was kind of wondering about this. This is the first time I've ever seen a Supreme Court decision be leaked early.

I'm assuming they'll put together some type of congressional investigation to look into how the information got out.
 
The only downside is that Dems will run against this in the midterms, putting GOP pols on the spot.
 
 
No doubt this leak was an intentional political move. The left's polling is as bad as it gets and looks hopeless for the midterms. So you leak this to give them something to grab on to. It was Politico, after all.

Supposedly it was a clerk of Sotomayers, the same one who leaked the story about Kavanaugh not wearing a mask
