Yep, and the establishment GOP wants the illegals to flood in so corporations can employ them, pay them nothing and make huge profits. That's bipartisanship for you.

Absolutely. That's why no legit solution has ever been advanced. That and the most entrenched group is Mexicans who don't want to change the status quo, they want the first seat at the table. They don't want to compete with Indians and the Chinese who can provide legal immigrants in much larger numbers and who have no organized crime problems to speak of.

Dunno the stats, but I swear that I read somewhere that the GOP gets the Hispanic vote.

The best the GOP ever got was 45% for Bush. That's a win for the GOP, but a loss for everyone else.

It's always been a Democratic strategy to get as many illegals in as possible and then try to legalize them later so they can vote Democrat.

There's a popular theory to the current influx that says the purpose now is to get the state of Texas to be converted to a democrat state. If this can be accomplished then there will never be a republican President again.

I think it's pretty silly to think all of those people will stay in Texas. There's better welfare in other states.
