Yes, this doesn't help.

Of all the things that frustrate you about the Cowboys, I think their inability to learn from their past mistakes has to be right at the top.

We saw the effects of what I'll call "rust" early on last season and that's why it took about 5 weeks or whatever for the offense to finally click.

That's why you would think they would have approached the preseason differently this year, right?

Nope.

Let's just keep on making the same mistakes we always make well because..... We're the Cowboys, that's why.

I'm telling you, this comes from Jerry and Son. Their greatest fear is injury to star players. And that means that training camp is mostly a time where disaster can happen, not time to hone your team. Jerry as much as said it when Lamb signed after missing almost all of camp.

Yeah, I don't doubt that this is a big part of our camp and preseason strategy of the last few years.

I can't believe Deebo was sick and missed the game last night? What? Which means if anything he'll be more rested and healed for us. :doh

If these players/coaches have any sacks left this would be the week to show it.

That doesn't necessarily mean they have to win, but the performance has to be respectable, at least something like a tight 21-17 loss.

If they come out and get railroaded like they did last year against a 3-4 49ers team with Aiyuk, McCaffrey, Hargrave and Hufanga out, and potentially Trent Williams and Deebo, they should just put McCarthy out of his misery.

There are dummies on X that think he will get suspended for a game. Give me a break.

Haven't guys been suspended for throwing punches before?

I could easily see it happening, not likely necessarily, but maybe 25% or so?

And if I'm remembering correctly he's thrown a punch in a game before so that could factor in, although knowing the NFL there's no chance they'd suspend him for a primetime game against Dallas.

Yeah, I was just kidding about that. Massive fine, sure. Suspension, no way in hell.

If it were some obscure player going in a non-marquee game, maybe there's a tiny chance. But him? nope.

They're going to beat us by three touchdowns. At least.

Honestly it looks like easy money.

Plus, they're coming off a loss and they're at home again. When's the last time they dropped 2 in a row at home?

I'm 10000% betting pretty big on SF, just waiting to see what the situation is with Parsons, Kendricks and Bland to decide how much.

Yeah, I find myself not even caring. I'm not even trying to think of a way we could keep this close or even win it. It's a loss and probably a game I don't even want to watch. So just continuation of a lost season and I'll probably turn my attention to the draft soon.

I already did. Between OU and the Cowboys, I'm doing pretty well this year.
