2026 Senior Bowl Thread

Bud Clark would be a very interesting guy if we can add a round 2/3 pick in a trade down also.

He's older like Mesidor but he looks like an excellent all around safety, both deep and down in the slot, with good ball skills.

I was thinking he’d be around in the 5th or so. Maybe not. I like him.

If I had to guess he'll go in the 3rd, maybe early 4th but I'd consider him with a late 2.

Feels like a lot of older prospects in this draft. I wonder if teams will go WGAS or if some of those guys will fall because teams view 21 or 22 year old as having more upside.

Zion Young looked really good today too, you don't get all the 1 on 1's on TV so maybe there's some stuff that's missing, but he looked just as good as TJ Parker to me. Probably doesn't matter much though since they're both pure 4-3 DE's and I doubt we're in the market for that.

Derrick Moore from Michigan is a clear 3-4 OLB though and he also looked great, I'd consider him if we traded down to about 30-40ish.

He's amazing in coverage, but he's so small that I think some are wondering if he should be a safety.

Either way I'd be happy to spend a 3 on him even if he's just a dedicated nickel/dime coverage LB.

I know this take is a little out there. And I know the Tech Homer's will love to hear this.

But I think I prefer Jacob Rodriguez to CJ Allen right now. Bonus points to the fact that I don't have to burn a top 20 pick to get him.

You prefer him in the 2nd/3rd compared to the 1st for Allen or prefer him period?

Don't you guys realize what you're creating here?

I think I prefer him period. It's close. Similar size guys. I just think Rodriguez brings more in coverage and overall play making ability. I think he processes faster and as a result gets in position fast.

I think both guys are high charecter. I think CJ Allen is more physical and a slightly better athlete. But when I weigh that all together, ignoring draft picks, I think I want Rodriguez on my defense more than I want CJ Allen. And I realize that's a big leap of faith from the consensus. I think both guys are 2nd-3rd round type guys for me.

He gives me Carson Schewsinger vibes.
I've seen others say that also.

I'm a big believer that ILB/43 LB is a lot like RB in that instincts, vision, feel, whatever you want to call it is huge. Not saying every physical specimen is Kenneth Murray, but that's the danger if you focus too much on measurables.
