2026 Season | Week 8 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cardinals @ Cowboys | 11/01/2026

Not saving Schottenheimer on some bullshit is definitely a concern, so I'll agree with that, although I think on a basic level Parker deserves it more.

I think Jerry would prefer to stick with Schottenheimer, I don't think he's as concerned about sticking with Saint Parker. I think if he's given any reason to go with Schottenheimer at all, he will

At this point I don't even give a shit if Flores is a good HC or not, I can't stomach to watch these games anymore year after year with defenses that are historically bad.

Minnesota is 6-1 scoring about 18 points a game, just let him fix the defense and hope Dak and Lamb can figure something out offensively.

Exactly where I'm at. There's stories going around that Flores is a nightmare behind the scenes but I don't even care at this point.

I was once of the opinion that there’s no reason to fire him because who replaces him?

But fuck it, you have to give the players that you might want back a reason not to check out. Give it to Klayton Adams as interim HC.

We'd hire Norv Turner's son or some shit

I'd rather Parker, we all know Schottenheimer isn't an NFL HC but this defensive performance is unforgivable, and they were halfway to an unforgivable performance against the Eagles backups if our offense hadn't been on fire.

If you can't rely on your defense to not give up back to back TD drives in 2 minutes or less you might as well not even play the games.
Schottenheimer sets the tone and these fucks don’t practice. They play foosball and video games.

105.3 The Fan - Bobby Belt
  • Quietest walk in the tunnels to the locker room.
  • Jerruh looked shell-shocked
  • Jerruh said "across the board failure. Everybody's hands, including myself, are in it"
  • Jerruh said "a lot of people let down Brian Schottenheimer down"
That last comment shows that he has complete doglike devotion to that visored twat stain.

This is part of what I'm saying. The offense was bad again, and there's no excuse with their talent on that side.

The game management was horrific but also the offensive coaching was horrific.

Yeah, offense in the NFL these days is so easy that you can stumble out of bed and still put up 30.

Yet our offense fails to get any traction far too often.

No way this coaching staff can possibly be justified to survive the end of the day.

This is fucking Campo bad.

I’d say it’s far worse than Campo. Campo’s teams had very little talent and they were in salary cap hell for a couple of years, iirc
