2026 Season | Week 8 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cardinals @ Cowboys | 11/01/2026

[Chocolate Lab]

And the Cotton record as thread starter this year is?...

[Texas Ace]

The defensive collapse in the 2nd half was a disgrace, but the "great coach" and "elite playcaller" was just as bad and just as responsible for that loss.

Please just fire him tonight.

There's still time to save the season in this division, so for the love of all that's holy..... Get rid of this fucking loser already.

[bbgun]

what does Pettine do ... exactly?

[boozeman]

Well at least there is now justice.

The whole team fucked around Gardner Minshew, Tyler Allegier and Michael Wilson and found out.

[data]

For all the talk we could go on a 4-1 tear.....couldn't even go 1-0

[boozeman]

what does Pettine do ... exactly?

He is not calling plays.

[Genghis Khan]

Please STFU about trading for Sweat. We should be selling everything.

And start with the fucking coaches.

[Texas Ace]

Man, fellas... I think Schotty might really be gone after this. This is bad bad. As bad as I've ever seen.

I wish I could believe that but I think he'll be kept through the end of the year.

But he SHOULD be fired after this because this is our worst loss since Green Bay 2013.

[bbgun]

Serious question ---- Is this the lowest point this franchise has ever been, at least in the 21st century?

Right before Wade was fired was bad, and the year Moore/Cassell saw a lot of action.

[dpf1123]

They gave up 30 points in the second half. And only scored 13. It's time for a guy who was in the league for 25 years without being a head coach to hit the streets.

[boozeman]

For all the talk we could go on a 4-1 tear.....couldn't even go 1-0

It is pathetic. And you know damn good and well they were already doing thinking that when they had a two fucking TD lead.

[Smitty]

And I hate to say it but this is why you can’t keep Dak around as the highest paid QB in the league.

[Genghis Khan]

Forget the defense. Schottenheimer should be fired for not being able to cobble together a scoring drive when it matters with this personnel.

And if it’s that the personnel isn’t good enough then boot the QB into the sun cause he’s the next one in the line of fire. It’s not the OL or WRs.

The offense, "GOTI" and all, had two chances to put the game away, once around the 2 minute warning and once in OT.

FAIL both times.

Inexcusable.

[Texas Ace]

For all the talk we could go on a 4-1 tear.....couldn't even go 1-0

Schotty is damn near incapable of winning multiple games in a row.

It's quite shocking how inept this guy is as a HC.

[boozeman]

They gave up 30 points in the second half.

To the likes of a Cardinal team that had their backup QB and last standing RB in the game.

[Genghis Khan]

No way this coaching staff can possibly be justified to survive the end of the day.

This is fucking Campo bad.

[bbgun]

[SaveAHorseRideACowboy]

I am fuckin done .., this team doesn’t warrant my time any longer …. This is the last game I will sit down and make sure I watch ….

[boozeman]

No way this coaching staff can possibly be justified to survive the end of the day.

This is fucking Campo bad.

What are they going to do?

Nothing.

That’s what.

without Marvin Harrison Jr and his replacement knocked out by the goal post
