Pretty sure Parker is a complete lemon.

Their run game is non-existent, the pass rush has been pretty solid, and yet the secondary can't stop busting coverages left and right. If not for about 5 blatant drops Love would have 300+ with about a quarter to go.

The secondary/DB's are Parker's speciality and it's the weakest link on the defense, injuries are somewhat to blame, but it's week 6 and there's actually talent out there tonight against a one-dimensional offense and the secondary (outside of Porter) looks like complete shit.

He's a really good football player.

The problem is that we're using him almost exclusively as a nickel corner which is fucking stupid.

You don't draft nickel corners with the 11th pick in the draft.

Like so many other players on this defense, he just needs a better coach.

Yeah, this has probably been the best performance by our front 7 so far and yet it hasn't even mattered.

I’m beginning to think we were sold a lemon. How the fuck was this guy the best defensive player in the draft?

He is no ace in coverage. I mean, hurray, he’s a safety who CAN play in the slot, but, he’s not an impact player there. Hes slow and takes bad angles. He has very few impact splash plays. His safety play either deep middle or coming down hill has been, at best, non descript.

Maybe the coaching has him chasing his tail but I don’t see an impact player at all. I see maybe a guy who’s a decent starter, some day.

I said it. This team was never even that good even if they were being properly coached.

We ran pretty much the same blitz on 3rd down on that last drive, the conversion that went to Golden against Downs, and it showed that Green Bay was prepared for such a situation while our bullshit ass coach can't figure it out after the 5th time GB runs it.

I can't think of one single reason Schottenheimer should be back next week, let alone next year, but I'm sure Jerry will be more than happy to bring him back after we win the division at 8-9.
