2026 Season | Week 6 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Packers | 10/18/2026

Lawrence looks better than he used to, for sure. Stroud isn't bad this game either.

No, the Eagles did and that's who they visited and lost to in said NFCC.

As for when the last time, either of those teams won the division, I would guess in the Redskins case it was 2012 with RG3 and for the Giants, maybe 2008?
Still not correct. I was thinking along the same lines as you, but I wasn't right either. I even checked it through two AIs to double check, because when I saw the answer I thought there was no way.

So when was it?
Redskins won it in 2020. Giants last won it in 2011. I would never have guessed that. I don't remember the Skins winning it in 2020.

Damn....I didn't remember the Redskins in 2020 either.

And I'm disappointed in myself for not remembering Giants 2011 because they beat us in the season finale to clinch.

I think we've all tried to flush 2020 from our memories. And not just football.

I know the NFL loves the drama, but is anyone else almost tired of this "whoever has the ball last wins" style?

Too many games are starting to look the same.

The NBA and MLB have trended the same way. Flair for the dramatic. Take as many 3s and hit as many HRs as possible for those wow moments. It has just about ruined them both. It is now doing the same to the NFL.

I'm starting off the day on the Giants game. We will see how long it takes me to switch over to RedZone.
