He's supposed to be though.

If the other elite DT's all had 2 sacks and 7 QB hits, sure, but statistically he's identical to everyone except Williams (who has a McVay-level genius coaching his defense), and he's been our best front 7 player. I'm assuming that as the defense starts to hopefully gel you'll see more production, he's already flashed more than anybody else.

Sure, he's also on a fully formed defense that has been in the same system for years with much more surrounding talent, much like Williams.

I'm not saying Quinnen has been exactly what I expect him to be over these two games, but it's been two games on a defense that's clearly out of sorts and statistically he's basically right there with all the elite DT's.

My point is that this "he's terrible, a complete dud" talk is nonsense.
