I think it is also contributing to injuries as these starters aren't up to "game speed" in the first few weeks of the season.

That's awful.
My mom is 76 and she got diagnosed with Parkinson's but the symptoms are mild so far and at least she's gotten to live all these years just fine, so I'm thankful for that.
Being diagnosed with that so young is just terrible.

In 1999 the man had 2400 (!) yards from scrimmage. A RB that had a 1400 yard rushing season also caught the ball for over 1000. He went 4 straight seasons with over 1300 yards rushing. 19000 yards from scrimmage for his career. Emmitt only had 2000 YFS more than Faulk, and he played 3 years longer. I think some may have forgotten just how good he was.

The dude was so good as a pass catcher that I think he could have been a full time WR had he dedicated himself to it.
He was an extraordinary player and for me one of the 5 greatest RBs I've ever seen.

My guess is he'd been chewed out for letting the ball get outside him so he overdid it here either so his coach wouldn't yell at him, or even to stick it in the coach's face.
Either that or, he is skinny, so he did a Diggs and just wanted no part of the tackling Stevenson.
