No, there is no arbitrary size limit rule set by the NFL, but players are restricted to wearing specific league-approved models provided by Guardian Sports rather than custom-sized or oversized shells.

I agree with them. The challenge system was implemented to try to keep games from getting bogged down by constant challenges.

Now with replay assist or whatever they call it, it's often handled by the league office in between plays with no delay.

So why do we need challenges anymore?
