Yeah I don’t think anyone intended him to start in 2026 or maybe even 2027. If Stafford remains strong, they have a Favre/Rodgers type situation

Yeah I think the problem is no one here thinks he will be a good starter in a couple of years. But IF he did become a good starting QB in a couple of years you're right. I mean an NFL team evaluates players. They grade how they grade. And if Simpson proves to be a legit starting NFL QB than ultimately the Rams evaluation was right.

Just none of us really think that's true.
