Some good players want all the challenges, all the spotlight, etc. And I would wager a large majority of practice squad players don't, and aren't ready for those challenges. They are less talented in all aspects of the game including the mentality of dealing with the NFL spotlight.

In theory, good teams would have people that could help these players rise above that "good enough" mentality and actually contribute.

Gee I wonder what’s better for trade value:

“We’re not trading him at all. No chance. We like how he fits with our team.”

Or

“We’d take just about anything for him. He’s a malcontent and not a team player. We hate his contract and would be happy to receive a bag of Doritos for him”
 
It's pretty hilarious that Indiana and New Jersey will have 4 football teams total and two of the three largest cities in the country will have zero.

Will be interesting to see if that stadium gets to host a SB, considering its proximity from Chicago.

At least those two cities are in the same state. Illinois and the city of Chicago will get to reap the majority of the economic windfall (thanks to all the fans staying/eating there) despite not hosting the game.
