Just have a game every gd day of the week and get it over with. All they're doing is increasing the risk of injury and diluting the product. Flying way too close to the sun.

weird that they would play each other on T'giving two times in three years, but I guess it's more common than I thought

They seem to play GB a lot too.
I'm guessing they struggle to make the Lions game interesting most years. Rivalries help.

I think that's exactly what it is. They want a matchup that will draw viewers for a game like that. And even if one of the teams ends up sucking, rivalries are still big draws.

Yeah, including the added effective prep time coaches and players get. You can’t watch film so well when you’re traveling to and from Tokyo.
