2026 Random NFL Stuff Thread…

Heh. Marinelli had sleep overs with Hill and had a signed contract. Quinn got all touchy feely with Simple Sam.

That's the problem. When a guy becomes your best friend you're too close to see the obvious flaws in charecter that everyone else can see. Makes me a little concerned with the touchy feely guy we have as a head coach out there having dinner with players.

"Had a hand in" their offense's struggles.

They've had a top offensive line, one of the best WR combos, a very solid TE, and one of the top RBs.

Yet, the offense is struggling.

Hmmm, I wonder what the problem is.

They'd be better off just moving on and bottoming out for a year to put themselves in position to draft a QB next season.

But it's the Steelers so I hope he comes back and keeps the mired in mediocrity.

Their defense is too good to bottom out. If they don't get Rodgers back they'll probably just pivot to Cousins. I'm not sure there's much difference at this point.

I saw the other day that the Rams were interested in Cousins as a backup.

If we're lucky Cousins signs with the Rams and Rodgers retires afterwards.

That would definitely screw them.

If Cousins is smart he'll wait though. He can get a backup job somewhere at any point.
