It's a big fucking issue, especially because they've been time consuming often as well.

The first drive of the game by Tampa was about 8 minutes, same with the opening drive of the second half by Philly and I think the opening drive of the GB game was about 7 minutes as well.

Those long drives stick out more in this era of football as well. Where defenses are being taught to attack early for negative plays, all the dbs are taught to be super aggro because the refs wont call all of them etc.

I assume this is analytics driven. Better to get the ball back down a score than have your defense getting railroaded for 10 minutes early in the game.

Downs is a slot heavy player and undersized. He has basically the same yards as Flournoy right now on more targets. So yeah, I do think that Flournoy would play more because he is better on the outside. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't love an explosive route runner like Downs on offense.

I make it hard because you say stupid shit like Ryan Flournoy would be the 2 over Downs, that’s ridiculous.

You didn’t say Downs would play more slot, you said you like Flournoy more than Downs and would have Flournoy be the 2.

Downs is better than Flournoy case closed. That doesn’t mean Downs is some elite WR, but then maybe you are vastly overrating Flournoy.

Or you're overrating a guy who had 500 yards receiving last year while starting 11 games and playing in 16 games. Either way I think you're underrating what Flournoy can do. I think he is actually a pretty good receiver. Flournoy has the excuse of being stuck behind two legit #1s. Not really sure what Downs excuse is.

And again, I like Downs. I think him and Flournoy would be like a 2a and 2b. But I do have concerns about Downs ability to play on the outside and despite his speed he has not proven to be a real deep threat.

Agreed that he has been a problem for years, but he is having a pretty good year this year.

Ya can’t take 1 game and make it a career… Steele has been inconsistent for years and quite frankly I view him as a liability …you don’t need to watch many games to see this …which brings me to this Manyweather guy … he is nothing but an opportunist … the credibility is nonexistent with this ass clown … clearly has no idea what he’s talking about…

Our entire Oline had a great game against the Eagles. Steele had a great game included in that. Show me more than that game though. Because he has been warmed over trash for years now.
