2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

Love was 23/41 for 276 but they had a ton of drops so he easily could've thrown for over 300. And the game before was against Tampa with Daniels at QB, and he didn't throw an ungodly amount (19/25 for 189) but he completed almost 80% of his passes.

I'm just not sure I buy that the defense is trending in the right direction.

Defense looks better to my eye test. But that doesn’t mean shit, if they don’t get off the field on 3rd down and don’t make plays. They honestly should look good tonight against Philly, but we’ll see.

Yeah, I listened to the interview and only two interesting things.

1. They directly asked him if he thinks this offense should be a run-first offense to get where they want to go, and he said, "Yes, I do."

2. The part about Troy. The hosts even started by saying, "We don't think you would ever do this, but would you?" And he said yes, I would. I think the question was about a significant role in the front office or something. Said something to the effect that it wouldn't be right now, but down the road, definitely.

Down the road, so basically when Jerry is no longer with us. Not like there is a long road ahead for Jerry.

Ed Werder brought up a good point as to why Jerry wouldn't actually pull the trigger and bring in Troy, no matter how much he keeps it alive... what if Troy comes in and they do in fact win the Super Bowl in 2-3 years? Then he's right back to where he was when he cut Jimmy loose... having to share credit.

This makes me mad enough to break furniture.

He wouldnt have to share credit. He would get none. He's had 30 years to prove it wasnt just Jimmy.

The front 7 has looked a bit a better, the coverage still looks like a bunch of fucking morons.
Except for one guy. Weird how the boy genius basically has an eraser at one CB position and yet can't compensate for the rest of em.
