2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

I think this is the most heat I’ve ever seen on a Cowboys coach. I don’t recall McCarthy getting it this bad, he at least had the 12 win seasons. And social media wasn’t as frenzied as it is now, when Garrett was on the outs.

This is quite the spectacle.

I feel like Garrett, Wade, and Campo had at least as much heat at points.

If Jerry dies soon enough to where Aikman isn't too old I could easily see it happening with Stephen.

I know..... Just blindly hoping.

I think they did in a local sense, I think they didn’t get the national internet ire because it didn’t exist like it does today.

As dumb as these motherfuckers are, I'll admit they made a good call making Pickens play on the tag when last year I was blathering nonsense how he was better than Lamb.

He’s super-talented and that can mislead anyone.

He weaseled his way into the HC job because he recognized that Jerry and crew were sort of waffling on what to do, and he more or less just talked them into giving it to him from what I can tell.

I'm not going to say the name but he strikes me as a similar type.

Anyone being honest with themselves will admit this year has been far far worse.

[Smitty]

What do you mean? He always blames himself, to me almost to a fault. Sometimes the players or even coaches need to be called out.

When are we gonna start calling Chocolate Lab the Schottenheimer lover?

This hurts me more than you...

Troy is so popular and smart Jerry would have no chance at all to claim credit, especially if we suddenly started winning again

Which is why it won’t happen.

I don't want Troy to do it anyway. Let my memories of the early 90s remain pure. Don't sully it with some ludicre that spoils the pedestal Troy Aikman resides on.

I can certainly understand that way of looking at it. He is damn near perfect in most Cowboys fan's eyes. But, I would, without doubt nor hesitation, hire him on this team in some football capacity.
