2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

If we can get to 5-3 after the first 8 games we'll be in business with the lighter schedule/more home games in the back half.

We'd probably be in good shape at 4-4 even.
 
I like the placement of home and away. Three home games in a row finishing with Thanksgiving is nice. Then after that the mini bye of TG going into a road game. Then finish the season with two home and away at the skins. Not too bad. Only two road games in a row.

Also, a late bye is nice. With that having a road game to follow, too.
 
Week 14 bye feels super late. I think that might be the latest bye we've ever had.

This reminded me of the final scene of that movie 'Big Fan' starring Patton Oswalt.

The scene where his buddy's visiting him in prison and he shows him the Giants schedule for the upcoming season.

Weeks 4-9 is rough. Would probably take 3-3 during that stretch and make hay on the rest of the schedule.

If they can't beat that shitbox team at home after their previous shitbox team embarrassed them at home last year they might as well just fire Schottenheimer unless we're already like 5-2.
