Emphasized mental ability, processing, instincts. Maybe we get away a bit from the SPARQ obsession.

God what a perfect example of a waste of a third round pick. I don't think there is a single one of us that would have taken him with our pick in the third round. And sure after the fact, we can all hear about the guy and find things to like.

But if it were up to most of us, it might have been Payton Wilson at that pick. Who by the way has been a really good LBer for the Steelers the last two years. And maybe his knee's or whatever won't hold out. But at the end of the day 4 years of Wilson will beat whatever you likely get out of Lufa.

What always impresses me about Parker is his knowledge of the players on the roster. Like he knows all about these guys and their college careers as well. It's not just a surface level knowledge that you'd expect. It's like he did in depth research on all these guys and remembers all of it. Pretty impressive when you think about how many guys are in a draft annually and the limited amount of time a coach has to spend in depth on the draft.

He is obviously an extremely bright guy that works really hard. Maybe the move doesn't work out but you can tell there is real thought behind it.
 
 
Guess that’s why he faded after showing some promise.
