2026 OTAs and Minicamp Thread...

They're both a dead end to a shitty road. Our backup situation will be shoddy for the next couple years until we can get a decent draft pick in here.

Howell would be the best backup we have had in quite some time. He’s better than Cooper Rush once he had the golden horseshoe removed from his ass.

I mean he throws as many picks as he does TDs. Not exactly a good sign.

I'm curious to see what he can do with a talented offense but I'm not sure he knows how to not make the boneheaded plays. Cooper Rush wasn't good but he at least knew how to drive the bus. And Milton he is sort of like Howell, more physically gifted, more erratic with his throws but also very prone to just the boneheaded plays.

Howell may not be any good, but he's still an improvement over Milton.

Yeah right now if I needed a guy to start a game Howell is the better player. Milton has more upside but what does that really mean when you're talking about a backup QB. A backup who is likely to never be anything more than a backup in the NFL. Maybe Milton will show marked improvement in Training Camp and Preseason. I hope so. But I'm not holding my breath.

Saying he's better than Cooper Rush is a pretty low bar. If Howell had went to South Carolina St., you wouldn't give him a second thought.

Most backup QBs are a pretty low bar.

This one actually has some potential left in him.

He did that while being chased for his life behind like one of the worst OLs in Washington ever. He was sacked 65 times, wasn’t it a record? It definitely led the league that year at least.

He may be ruined at this point. But he could and can sling it. That’s a trait Milton doesn’t have.

It will be interesting to see Howell play with some decent talent.

In all fairness I think taking that many sacks is on the QB to some extent too.

Some, but he didn’t really have a “hold the ball too long” problem at North Carolina. He was a gunslinger some, so there’s that.

Washington just sucked and he got caved.
