Don't care about the betting stuff at the end, but kind of interesting it sounds like he's not sold on Reese at all. Prefers Bailey and it doesn't sound close.

Yeah not sure Gruden is the best Evaluators. He took a massive bust at DE 4th overall with the Raiders and basically admitted they are hard to evaluate.

Everyone's been wrong... not sure that invalidates their opinion. And was that him or goofy Mayock anyway?

As a pure edge rusher Bailey is definitely better and safer, but Reese has a higher ceiling and more positional versatility.

In a very close conversation I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets were scared off by Bailey's personal foul/stomping situation, whereas Reese is supposedly pristine character wise.

One thing I like about Reese, I see real aggression. Looks like he has a mean streak and plays all the way to the whistle.

I think someone compared him to Micah a few days ago, I think that's a good comparison. He is one who actually jumps off the screen.

Just saw an NFLN report on that. So he's fine now, they just think his longevity could be in question.

But this explains my question a while ago about a "degenerative" acl. It wasn't the acl, it was the cartilage.

I hear that and I think microfracture surgery and then I think of all the players who sucked after it.

But if that's 5 years off how do you worry about that but not think of Mesidor or Love who may be near the end of their careers in 5 years.

If the NFL is so hyper focused on short term, maybe he will still go in the first.
