First thing I thought of. What if this was the no depth, post-Jimmy 90’s Cowboys? Jerry’d have clung with every last bit of his influence, claiming he had Calvin Hill to advise the guy and that the Cowboys were “set up” to manage the situation.

Today, wow. He would suspend the player once there was proof, but cutting a guy is hard for Jerry

The sad thing is with the right attitude he would be a player who would be a beloved player to root for. Undersized, not overly physically gifted but wins games and is productive. Those are the guys who becomes fan favorites and pet cats. But he is just a dick.
