Assuming he comes back 100% sometime next year I think he only has maybe 3ish elite years left after 2026.

I'm sure Jerry will bring him back as a 32 year old one trick pony edge rusher though who gets way too many snaps for what he'll be at that point.

If he misses 8 games this coming season, that will be 12 he’s missed counting both and assuming he doesn’t miss anymore. Can you imagine the regret we’d be feeling if we did cave on his contract demands? I’d be sick.
