2026 Injuries Thread…

I'll say this, I literally root for injuries to players on opposing teams and actively enjoy them as long as they're mundane football injuries (torn ACL, broken foot, high ankle sprain, etc.).

Obviously I don't want serious injuries or health issues to happen that could impact quality of life (neck/back, etc.) or cause serious medical issues like that.

But still fuck the Eagles though.

Billed as one of the greatest teams ever.

Crazy how teams billed as big offseason winners just fall totally flat some times.

In their case I actually got the hype because they were legitimately an elite team that appeared to be getting even stronger.

But football is a cruel sport. And no matter how good you are, success isn't guaranteed from one season to the next and those precious opportunities don't come around often.

That's why Lions fans are going to forever rue that day when Dan Campbell didn't kick that FG at San Francisco.

And they still have to go through the 4 to 6 games they will miss Puka playing due to his annual injuries.

The Lakers with Karl Malone and Gary Payton comes to mind.

I would call the Rams and offer them Pickens for the right price.
I once was against this but after watching him this year, I would try to get the most I could for him and ship his lazy ass off.

For me it's not about that.

I don't care for the occasional laziness, but I'll deal with it for the elite talent. Besides, you're never gonna have a team of 53 professionals where everybody plays hard every single down.

The reason I'm open to trading him now is because this season is a lost cause and I don't think we're gonna resign him, so might as well get a 1st round pick back.

If the Texans can get a 2nd for Harrison Jr., we can get a 1st for GP.
