2026 Draft Week Chatter Thread...

Nussmeier goes from future Top 10 potential to possible undrafted in a year.

Is the line that thin for QBs? Or did the year expose something unknown before (which would seem strange since he’s been well-documented from the get), or he just didn’t follow the assumed trajectory of development?

This is how I look at it.

Overton was an excellent pick where we got him. Moore I'm fine with, would've preferred Muhammad but he wasn't a reach and has a sky high ceiling if he can stay healthy.

The Shelton pick was meh but I said I wanted a developmental OL and I think he fits, we probably took him a little high but if you flipped the Shelton and Overton picks I think that would've made perfect sense.

I'm not going to get upset about some random 7th rounder.

My only real complaint is that we're playing with fire at RB, these jokers better be right in the amount of faith they have in Blue and Mafah.

That and Overton was a very nice pick in the 4th.

Downs of course ties everything together, but I think the defense is going to be significantly better unless Parker is a lemon.

Just kidding I’m watching playoff hockey and we had a good draft. He ain’t ruining that for me.

Crazy. He's pretty obviously better than some of the guys that were drafted ahead of him.
