2026 Draft Week Chatter Thread...

Moore is a Nashon Wright replacement.

I mean he is a better player than Wright was when we drafted him. But he is tall, just not that freakishly/awkwardly long.

Moore is at least a legit fourth round prospect. With the physical skills and talent to have gone higher, but the injury history to knock him down to the fourth.

I don’t think any teams really fucked up. The Rams were weird and I am not huge on the Giants first round, but no one really fucked up yet.

Seriously, what percentage of NFL fans enjoy these long winded announcements?

Does the league give one shit what its customers think?

There is still a chance. My guess is they go Dline. It's the last box to sort of check off for this team. But there is an outside chance for WR/RB/TE (please no)
I'm guessing they'll say they're happy with the RB room. I think TE is too picked over and they'll pass. So my guess is either DL, LB, or WR.

Gonna say somebody from Konga, Durant, Elarms-Orr, Perkins, Fischer, Lance, Bell

There goes Woodaz. A supposed Cowboy target.

On the phone with Devin Moore:
  • Met at the Combine and Cowboys just picked my brain scheme-wise and coverage-wise. Even asked about knowledge of DL-play
  • I'm tall, long, strong DB. Can play safety, outside and inside corner at times. I'm physical, being long, fast and big. Pair that with mental - fast recognition on what offense is doing to attack us. Florida was heavy press, so didn't get lots of opportunities to showcase my off-man coverage.
  • Film, knowing concepts, knowing formation and WR splits, if WR/TE/WR on same side...need to know that arsenal. Also, need to be confident to action upon your recognition
  • Biggest improvement I've made is confidence over the reps I've gotten.
  • Shemar James was my dawg. We came in as same recruiting class and excited to reunite with Shemar.

Since when have you ever considered the league to make decisions based on what real fan wants?

Rhetorical. I already know they don't care.
