My point is that lots of teams with very good defenses have shitty guys starting at ILB, the difference is the coaching/scheme.

Even the damn 49ers had a top 10ish defense with Winters himself playing all year, and the guy next to him sure as shit wasn't as good as Overshown is.

No, just something mentioned the other day when they said he wasn't going in the first or second round. So when that part came true, I assume the second part is true as well.

I think it was one of the Cowboys draft talk shows. Mentioned needing a second surgery that will sideline him this season. ACL is healed but the bone plug thing is going to require surgery and sideline him next season.
