2026 Draft Week Chatter Thread...

In Bruglers final mock draft he had Lawrence going 26 to the Bills. I don't think he was a reach at all. Bruglar usually has a pretty good beat of what NFL teams thing of players.

Brugler is usually pretty good right?

I may use a fourth to move up from 92 to get a LBer. Rodriguez, Hill, Allen, Golday and Trotter. Just let one of them make it to the third.

Yeah, i’d see if that happens first and if it doesn’t, then I would trade for Brooks

He’s been a 4-3 DE his entire career. I’m shuddering at the thought of him as a 3-4 OLB dropping into coverage or trailing a back into the flat.

Absolutely. I don't know if this guy will ever be a top of the league pass rusher, but I do believe he'll be a steady 8-10 sack guy that will give you some splash plays behind the line of scrimmage.

Get us a LBer by either trading into the 2nd, or trade for Brooks from Miami. And this defense now has a whoooole different feel to it.

I'm not saying he is Ware. But in terms of measurable he is similar if not better across the board. The first step quickness and burst is elite. I'm actually really pumped about Downs and Lawrence. I wanted an extra third with a trade down but I'll take two fourths instead.

6-4+, 250+, 1.59 ten, 40" vertical... He can do it. In fact he'd be better suited to this.

If we hadn't taken him, I have zero doubt that he would have been taken in the next few picks. I would have been ok taking him at 20. Getting him after picking up a couple 4ths is just gravy.
