See the thing about taking a safety first, which wasn’t exactly a TRUE need, is that the needs are still there: pass rusher, ILB (or two), and maybe another down lineman.

It would definitely be nice to get another pick by moving down from 20 to 23-28.

You shouldn’t. Malachi makes plays but he disappears for long stretches too. Mesidor is always active and forces himself into the game when his metrics say he shouldn’t.
