Let's get this party started.
 
2 days. This shit is killing me. If we do something substantive on defense this very well could be a big year for us. If we do something stupid like trade up 6 spots for one player, we most likely are going to see about what we did last year. 2 days seems like an eternity at this point.

In this draft, I would trade up if possible. Down even more.

This is a weak draft and those that sit and wait will get that lazy by-product. Move up or down. Just sitting on the picks is not smart.

Doubtful. I'd be willing to bet if we didn't draft a single defensive player, just the change in coaching will have us not as bad as last year. That's just how awful our scheme and Eberflus was last year.

Also, not sure how we would be trading up for just one player. If we use both firsts, we'd get a 2nd/3rd back which would more than likely be a starter to go along with who we traded up for. Or, if we just use 12 and 92, (or 12 and future pick) we'd still have whoever we take at 20. Or other picks if we traded down with 20.

I agree completely. This year I hate sitting where we pick, unless some miracle happens and someone takes a crazy reach in the top 10.

Yes. That sucked. Also, the year I had to unfollow one of the big draft pundits at the time (can't remember who it was now) because he kept tweeting the pick before it was announced.

Absolutely because of where we sit at each pick. We don’t need WR, TE, OL like some of these teams might and that’s what’s falling to us.

Defenders at 12 are the same as defenders at 25, so that’s the neighborhood where we need to drop both picks ideally.

Teams like New England who could use an OL will have slim pickings at 31 and might be willing to trade up.

Same with teams like Buffalo at 26 who need a WR. Maybe they will be willing to move to 12 and draft Lemon

A 20 I agree, I think that's a dead zone for what we're looking at.

I'm not so sure at 12. I could see 1 or 2 of our targets being there.

20 picks early on JRod. I agree with the talent and fit, but he’s not going to go that early, and there are more talented LB’s rated ahead of him, not to mention many players at other positions.

I could accept a trade down to 31 to get our choice of these 2nd round-graded linebackers, but 20 is too rich and means we’ve left picks on the table.

Seeing stuff from Glazer about Love and how taking him in the top 5 prices him above Barkley.

He may slide into the lower portion of the top ten unless a real cash rich team like the Titans decides to say fuck it. I don’t think he is in the Giants mix.

I've been wondering that. I guess people are saying Titans because they assume they want to re-create Henry? But what if they're smarter than that? Are we sure someone else takes a non premium position that high?
