2026 Cowboys Free Agency Thread…

I guess the positive about Locke is that he is the caliber of player that has been a crown jewel our recent FA classes. Take that haters.

He also started both of their playoff games this year, I haven't watched it yet obviously but that's sort of encouraging.

Yep.

I could see him even being our backup plan for 5th DB if they don't take a DB in the first.

I could see us starting Bland/Revel at CB, Thompson/Hooker at safety and then when we go 5 DB's Thompson shifts into the slot area with Locke playing deeper.

Definitely not plan A but I could see it if the draft goes a certain way.

Glad his sources are on top of things, considering we already offered him in the Crosby deal.

I'm not a fan of this unless it's a really good deal.

I just don't see that happening. I would rather keep a talented Dlineman than to trade him away for some day three pick or some average starting LBer or something. I doubt you'll get the equivalent to a really good young NFL DT in return.

We have so much $$$$ tied up in DT's. We usually don't have any good DT's. Now we have 3. I'm just not sure Osa fits into what CP wants to do. Maybe he does.
