I like him, just thought he was mentally a bit slow and this maybe not a great fit. But I honestly thought he would suck when he left the Ravens and instead I think he has been very good.

Was he the one in Baltimore that the media portrayed as having a "hard time" playing to expectations and finally had 1 good year?

It was a few years ago.

Hopefully, they rework that deal. And if he was cut and had no guaranteed money his new deal would've been even more.

I just don't think he is a green dot kind of guy. More the type you want standing next to one. He isn't going to help get everyone lined up on defense.

But in terms of being a rocket that can fly around and make plays, he is that guy. One that you probably want to keep clean because he won't deal with trash well.

Basically I'd be happy to have him but I'd really be hunting a heady LBer in the draft to become the real LBer leader on defense even if we added Queen.
 
Have I mentioned Elliss was a green dot? :unsure

Yep, basically feels like someone I'd want when Overshown gets hurt.

I want a Jacob Rodriguez type. And no matter what we do at LBer I'd still probably want to draft that guy. 20 just feels a little rich. And having no second or third round pick kind of leaves us in a weird position of reaching that I don't like.
