2026 Cowboys Free Agency Thread…

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if these twits had every intention of getting "aggressive," in free agency this offseason but based off of prices from 2 years ago and they get sticker shock and end up "getting lapped," again.

Turned on 105.3 and Wolchuk said the Raiders are heavily after Dean, and Broaddus said maybe we aren't as hot on him as people think.

Broaddus says Thompson is likely the next target.

It's starting to sort of feel like business as usual for the Cowboys. We heard that free agency would be different. But we are all sitting here without a free agent move.

And sure, what about Gary, well Gary is what we do every offseason. Don't sign one of those scary free agents, trade for someone. Somehow that is less scary to the Cowboys. They'd give up a first, second and Osa to get Crosby. But signing a free agent to a multi year deal is just too terrifying of a mistake to make. We deal day three picks for players every off season. It's standard procedure in Dallas. Some of those guys work out and some of them bust hard.

But unless we actually sign a free agent to something other than a one year prove it deal, then we all got the same bullshit from Jerry of hyping free agency up (Bust the budget this year, all in last year, and god knows what in previous years to that) and delivering nothing.

We signing Kenneth Murray back?
The 49ers need to get him since Eberflus is there. Then they can trade Fred Warner to the Giants as rumored and totally ruin their defense.

To be fair, no one minus maybe Alontae Taylor has been signed by anyone else yet, so tap the brakes. I'm anxious about it too, and will start getting worried when teams start signing players we seem to have wanted.
