I would have been cool with a sixth. If he had a couple years left on the contract I'd feel different. But my guess is the guy plays like half a season as a starter at most. And he gave up a lot of sacks with the Steelers. So it's not exactly like I'm expecting that half a season to be great.

Look at it this way, (Cowboys' perspective). We got a player with a first round grade coming outta college for peanuts.
 
How shitty must it feel to be Denzel Mims right now? He is the only Cowboys player cut so far. It's like the team went, Ok this dude is definitely gone. The rest of them we have to actually think about. :lol
