Okay, I actually disagree with the injunction and don't think Sorsby should ever be allowed to play college ball again, but how exactly is this Texas Tech's fault? I guess other schools would just stand on the moral high ground and kick him off their team, right? Sure.

I don't know the legality of it all in this new era of NIL contracts, but couldn't Texas Tech pull his offer and just kick him off the team?

Even if they're contractually obligated to retain him, if it were up to me I'd bury him on the bench. The NIL contract may say they have to pay him and keep him on the roster, but I doubt there are any clauses in there that guarantee playing time. He's trying to get drafted and being a health scratch week after week would have him looking to transfer elsewhere.

No school should want a known gambling addict, who bets on his own team's games, to be part of their program.

I thought they did that at first when they found out before he appealed? No? I'm probably just crazy.
