I think he's kind of dumb for even trying. It seems like his best course of action is to try the supplemental draft rather than have to sit out a year. I doubt he gets reinstated.
His biggest problem is his attempt to stay in college basically admits he has a serious gambling addiction. But if he wants to play in the NFL they need to downplay it as much as possible. Like you want to get picked high in the supplemental draft claiming a serious addiction doesn't seem ideal. I think he is leaning into this the wrong way.
