They got a SB win out of it so I don't think they'll care.

I wouldn't.

I doubt they care but it's still relevant to things moving forward.

I'm not saying they shouldn't have signed him or shouldn't have given him that many touches, they won a SB, congratulations, but the reality remains and it will have an impact on the next 2 years or so.

:doh

It indeed sucked. Too big and bulky.

I didn't really mind it other than it was too tall up into the screen. I did like how the left and right of it was clear and allowed the field/players to be shown.

So I guess this is what we get next year? Seems like they've done that the last several years, previewed it in the Super Bowl.

But they also got there in the first place because the best team in the conference (Detroit) shit the bed after getting devastated by injuries, and the putative preseason best team (SF) also got devastated by injuries and their season tanked.

The fact remains though that the Eagles drafted and developed a very solid team built to play deep into the playoffs and a SB if things broke their way. And things broke their way. They hit on almost every draft pick, took flyers on diamonds in the rough, and put pieces in place around Hurts who is not that great of a QB to help him make plays down the field.

Compare that to Dallas, who thinks signing one or 2 lower tier FAs and hitting on 1 or 2 draft picks will get them to a SB.

Sadly, there’s not a throw Hurts made last night that our overrated gimp couldn’t have made….but our WRs, RB, OL and DL are are shadow of what the Eagles have. And that’s directly tied to their GM.

It's dumb tradition they started. Apparently we need a brand new scorebug every year, even if the old one was superior.

I wonder if it even crossed the mind of anyone in Cowboys management or coaching that Baun could be an elite off the ball LB? Or anyone in the league really besides the Eagles and Vic F. in particular?

There are a lot of petty people on this forum. Remember how anemic they were as they closed out the 2023 season, losing six out of seven? They rebuilt it in one year. Siriani and Hurts have taken a lot of grief, but no more.

They learn from their mistakes instantly. Last year they hired jerk offs for OC and DC. They didn't make the same mistake, especially with Fangio.

The year Baun came out I loved him as a prospect and thought he should've been a borderline 1/early 2, in that exact role.
