If Dart came out last year he wouldn't have been a first but this class is so weak teams will be desperate to find a third guy, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone trades up into the late 1st for him.

Yep. It’s the JP Losman syndrome. Desperate teams are willing to use a late 1st on a guy who should be a mid-round pick, especially with the 5th year option. If he works out, they get that last year basically for free, barring a 4th year extension.
