2025 Season | Week 3 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys vs. Bears | 9/21/2025

Huh maybe Fat Mike knew a thing or two about coaching.
I've always said the same this. He wasn't perfect but I thought he was easily the best Cowboys coach since Parcells.

I don't even hold last year against him because Jerry and Stephen intentionally set him up for failure.

He's Mike Tomlin and Sean Payton but with a worse PR team.

Also Prescott missed over half the year. He sucks in the grand scheme of starters but he’s better than Cooper Rush.

I don't disagree with any of this, but he also deserved to be fired after the 2023 playoffs.

Last season was a complete cluster from the start, but the dysfunction also stemmed from the disappointment in that playoff loss.

I don't believe Patrick Mahomes is still the best QB in the league. I think people just default to placing him at the top of their QB rankings.

Hard to say because the talent surrounding him is very, very poor. I don't think there's a single Pro Bowler on their offense outside of Humphrey.

Probably not but the Chiefs arent doing him any favors with the WRs and RBs either.

I think it's going to take the Giants 4 games (Washington, tonight, plus two more) for them to score as much as they did against us.

Since we're seemingly cruising for a top 10 pick I have to mention that one of the interesting quirks of this year's class at the top is that the top 2 OL (or at least 2 of the top 3) are RT's in Fano and Mauigoa.

Fano could shift to LT, but I think it's notable given that it's pretty abnormal, and of course given the fact that Steele is probably our worst offensive player.

Nobody wants to go OL in the first again, and especially top 10, but we might have to.

Second time tonight "the best QB in the league" threw a retarded ass backwards pass out of sheer panic.

And Collinsworth is kissing up to him for hustling to recover the fumble.

Don't praise the arsonist for putting out the fire, Chris.

Fano will probably drop now. Playing Tech kind of does that to players.
