2025 Season | Hall Of Fame Game Chatter Thread | Lions vs Chargers | 7/31/2025

Harbaugh is slapping Trey Lance's pads.

We are about to see a show.

Grant Stuard used to be a LBer at Houston, been a ST type and Detroit had him in kick return position.

He basically ran into someone's ass and fumbled.

Thoughts on Hampton wearing #8?

Yeah, what the fuck was that?

Detroit is either just fucking around or they really don't have their shit together.

Those are two glaring mistakes that you kind of cannot ignore even if it is the first game.

These dumbasses will all be cut, but it makes you wonder a bit.

Is that a significant number for the Chargers or something?
Just seems weird for a starting, franchise tailback to be wearing the single digit.

I will admit that if I saw our first round RB get taken out at the ankles by a schlub CB like Rock Ya-Sin, I would be kind of hella mad right now.

OIC.

I ceased giving a fuck about the number thing recently.

It is just another sign of our decayed society that will never heal itself in the future.

Everyone has to be special, show their flair, belong...what the fuck ever.

And Campbell let the white retarded linebacker with out of control hair return it again.

Trey Lance out there looking like a future HOFer.

Former Cowboy great Orande Gadsden’s kid with the reception from Lance.

It is fucking sad I recall his schlub dad.

Hey. Did you guys know that Antonio Gates was a basketball player?

Not sure if they ever mentioned that before.

Sterling Sharpe getting in after only a seven year career is a bit cheap.

It's preposterous that a guy like Sharpe is in over Woodson.

It's like they felt bad for him for getting hurt and put him in as opposed to, you know, being an all-time type player who actually contributed to something meaningful.

I originally thought Gale Sayers and Terrell Davis broke the seal on short career HOF'ers.

But I went down a rabbit hole looking for a list of HOF players with the shortest playing careers and there are quite a few with much shorter careers than Sharpe, Davis, and Sayers.

I'm surprised to see Otto Graham on this list. The way historians talked about him I always assumed he had one of those long recording-setting 15 year careers.

Antonio Gates is the only guy going in this year who has a clearly better resume than Woodson, and I'd argue that Woodson has a better and maybe even significantly better resume than the other three.

Like why in the fuck is Jared Allen getting in after being eligible for like 4 years?

That's like if they rushed to put Trey Hendrickson in or something.
