Lawrence has played his ass off this year.

He was still a good player here but he missed basically all of last year and was aging, so I get letting him go.

I wouldn't want to be on the hook for a big salary for him when he's 34 and 35 but it goes to show that you can't just write players off because they're 31 or 32, guys at that age can still have 2-3 productive years in the tank.

People should keep that in mind with Clark after next year when he'll be 32 going into 2027. We shouldn't be overpaying him but a 3/30 type deal to keep him around if he maintains his level of play next year would be a good idea.
