All joking aside (just this once), this is basically what people have been saying Dak should have done on both his 2 contracts. It's really no sacrifice, he'd never know the difference in his lifestyle, and it would help the team.
Even a retard like Allen can figure it out. (Unlike Allen's ability to play QB.)
You think that would get the Cowboys to sign anything more than one more Olawale?
At least the Bills aren't afraid to hand a free agent more than a 5 million dollar contract.
True but that's a separate issue.
It is but it isn't. How does a player decide to sacrifice money if the team isn't going to actually use that money to make the team better? I'm sure a guy like Josh Allen does what he does because he thinks it will allow the team to go out and sign a Joey Bosa or whatever.
If Dak takes less money and the team doesn't spend it that's on the team.
If Dak takes every red cent he can get that guarantees the team can't spend it.
Dak's life does not change one iota either way.
Also, they won't spend on outside free agents of course, but what if an extra $5 or $10 million meant they resigned a Jourdan Lewis or Chauncey Golston, or a guy like Armstrong last year? They will sometimes sign their own guys for a lot of money (like Osa for instance).
