Everybody (me included) keep talking about Eberflus going away. Second on that list for me is Conor Riley.
2nd and 3rd on my list would be David Overstreet and Darian Thompson … that was the worst secondary in football by a country mile …although hurt and coming off an injury … Diggs was the 2nd worst rated corner in football …inexcusable

If Eberflus is gone the entire defensive staff except maybe Whitecotton will be gone, not worried about that at all.

Correct. That's why I went with offense for my #2.

Yeah I don't dislike our offensive line coach. I think he has done pretty well. Especially because run blocking is part of coaching the O-line and I think we have been great at it. The pass protection hasn't been bad either despite mediocre to bad play from both OT's. Which just shows me the scheme we are implementing in pass protection are working.

I think Riley deserves another shot.

We have had worse OL coaches. I think he and Adams have a good thing going if they get some of the retards worked out.
I just miss Callahan so much.

You should be, considering how the Cowboys operate.

I wouldn't put it past them at all to force the new DC to retain Eberflus' staff.

They were stupid to have high expectations for that secondary. A bunch of us were screaming to the hills for them to add another guy like Gilmore. It's borderline insane that they thought that secondary would be good. Most of us yahoos knew better but the yahoos running the team somehow were clueless.

Hello Jermod McCoy.

Although I'm holding out hope that they will avoid CB with their first pick given the Bland contract and how in love they seemingly are with Revel.

I'm not opposed to a corner. But if we do in the first I think Jermod McCoy is really the only one I'm super interested in. At least with that 16ish pick. Maybe Delane or Terrell if they are still around by our pick in the 20's. But I'm really hoping to move that pick down a little first and recoup at least a second or third round pick.

If we do all that maybe you can wait for LBer and snag a guy like Anthony Hill Jr. or Jake Golday or Jacob Rodriguez with the extra pick you got. Sort of a two starters for one kind of move. A lot like we did when we traded down and took Guyton and Beebe. I really think we need that type of move in this draft.

Depends on the testing to some extent, if Delane runs a 4.38 I'm totally comfortable taking him at 16 regardless of arm length or whatever else, same with McCoy, although I'd still strongly prefer Bailey or Styles if available.

I think Cisse will be in that second tier group too though, although I agree that trading down should be a strong consideration.

I like Delane, I think he will be a good player in the NFL. Someone you can start for a long time who will play well. So I wouldn't hate him. I just don't know that he is going to be a really impactful player. And for that first pick I'd really love a front seven impact player. But I can really say for certain who will be left. Like don't give me CJ Allen at 16. I'd rather bail on the pick than to do that. Now Styles, Bain, Faulk or Bailey I'd drool over.

And if we went corner at 16, you could maybe snag Howell after a trade down and still get one of those LBers I mentioned. I actually very much like Cashius Howell.
